In terms of quality and durability...how much difference is there between stainless

steel and aluminized/mild steel?

I should be getting my Y-pipe soon and Warpspeed claims to finally
have a 2.5" aluminized steel y-pipe for the 5th gens. The stainless steel version is not yet available.

I know that the stainless steel is considered to be better but will the aluminized steel wear or rust that much quicker?

thanks guys

look at your stock pipe(aluminzed steel)....how long has it lasted??

for example, on my '91, the stock pipe lasted me until last summer, thats 10 years on aluminized steel!!!! I got the WSP aluminized steel Y and called it a day, $200 well spent!

yeah there is really only one exception...if you live in a place that uses very HEAVY salting during the winter(like way up North) SS pipping is "suggested". but you're in NY so you'll be fine with aluminized!
