anyone else having suspension noises

seems like alot of people with 4th generation maxima's are having banging noises from their rear suspension setups. Does anyone not have this problem and what did you do and what did we do wrong????????????? I'm really stuck on this subject seems I tried everything ex. trimming bump stops, spiral wrap on the coils,
Is it hopeless to say we won't have a quiet suspension someday????????? the noise is driving me nutzzzzzzzzzz!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got H&R's + AGX's that I just did about 3k ago.... No noise at all. I didn't wrap anything special in the rear either. No PVC hose or wire wrap at all.

Make sure the springs are seated correctly in the bottom seat. Make sure the original rubber-cover thingy is on the bottom coils and between the spring and the seat.

Make sure that red paper/plastic gasket is between the top of the strut assembly and the vehicle.

Make sure the center strut-rod nut is tight and there are no cracks in the rubber pieces that get compressed when you tighten that nut all the way.

As a last resort replace all rubber pieces in the rear strut assembly(two rod-bushings, spring seat)....

Have you done any of this? What spring/strut? Describe the noise and when exactly you get it. Are you sure its from the rear?

well it's like a banging sound whenever i go over bumps and potholes
I run agx with eibach
I haven't replaced the rubber pieces because I don't really think that is the reason for all the noise

Once in a while if I go down this one street it has little dips on it my rear suspension will make this clak clak noise, is not loud but you can hear it as I am taking the curve at 35MPH, I have not heard it lately since I reversed my rear intrax springs tight coils on top for a perfect fit for the rear Koni perches.all the noise [/B][/QUOTE]
