Should I just get the FSTB?

A friend of mine is selling his '95 GLE for a '99 SE 5-speed (that b*stard) and offered to sell me his FSTB for $20. I'm going to be spending about $800 on a new head unit, speakers, etc. for my car, but if the strut bar is going to be worth it I don't think $20 is gonna hurt me much...

...so should I just go for it? I probably won't be able to afford a rear sway bar for a while. Is it worth getting the FSTB if I won't have an RSB for at least two-three months?

Thanks in advance for advice.
