hi guys. I need need your advise and experience about maxima purchase. My cousin just bought a brand new M3 and he needs to get rid of his 1996 Maxima SE. He's asking 8.5k for it. I'm sure its well worth the price, but the downside is it has 131k miles on it. All of it is freeway though, and i know he keeps it WELL conditioned. Also, he's upgraded the car's performance w/ mods. How much would you buy this car for?

1996 Nissan Maxima SE
-131k miles (90% freeway)
-Power everything.
-Leather
-Moonroof
-Bose cd audio
-Runs great, no problems at all.
-OZ F1 Racing 17" Rims with 235 50/ZR-W17-Pirelli P7000 SuperSport Tires. I got the tires last year so there's plenty of
tread.
-K&N Air filter, Trust 'Cat Back' Exhaust
-Eibach Sport Springs (lowered 1")
-Short Shifter Kit (makes for faster shifting) with a Momo Shift **** for looks.
-replaced clutch w/ high performance one 20k miles ago

 

That's a pretty good deal... i've seen a few 96s for around that much. My dad's 87 Maxima has 213K miles, so I wouldn't worry much about the mileage. My mom on the other hand, just got a 97 SE for $8900 and it has a little over 100K miles.
