All this talk about conversions...

With the recent hype in conversion going on now I was wondering if anyone would be able to put together a list of what tranny will work with what car.

Example: A 97 auto Maxima is compatible with a 97 or 98 5 speed or I30 tranny, etc.

I know that Iron Lung just converted his 99 auto with a 97 5 speed, would that switch also work the other way around? Could you put the 99 tranny into the 97 Max? Any thoughts on any of this?

I don't see any reason why any 95-99 wouldn't work. Good luck.
