Dual exhaust looks pretty good and gives engine more breathablility, so i guess ud get some more HP. If I were you id just get a greddy catback. It adds some horsies, sounds good, and looks even better!

fake dual.....meaning 1 downpipe and a split after the cat into 2 rear sections.....u will get a different sound, but may lose 1-2hp, bc the pipe splitting will cause restriction in the piping, as for a REAL dual setup, meaning 2 downpipes each from eitehr side of the engine to the end into 2 separate rear sections, u may gain 1-2hp more than a regualr catback.

single to dual, gains of catback might not be as impressive, but it will sound deeper and more rumbly than a catback.

real dual, a little more gain than a catback.....not sure about sound....i deno if itll sound like 2 small engines, or nice and deep like a v8...i dont think this idea has been done yet.

my exhaust is stock, and honestly i wouldnt reccomend going for a real dual(2 downpipes from each manifold going all the way back separately) bc the extra hp it might give u isnt really worth the ridiculous amount of money and time that would go into something like that.

if u do the real setup, i think u will be the first to have done that. ive heard theres enough room under the car to run the setup of 2 separate pipes all the way back, but u might have to relocate the cat, along with some O2 sensors, and so on. if u want a dual for looks and sound, go with what most people on teh forum have done for it, bc the extra 1-2 hp that a real dual would yield isnt worth the cost.

simple answer... EVEN if you don't lose HP, you will gain weight that will slow you down.. do this mod only for the style.

With my setup, I LOST weight over stock, and gained maybe 1lb. over a conventional setup...but that's cause I have my own custom deal that not even Thablue knows about.
