Either way, you need 5 quarts.

If you must insist on Redline, the MT-90 is a better choice. If you'd like Amsoil, I reccomend the 80W-90 GL4.

Yes, 75W-90 should work. The recommended oil is Redline MT-90.
I would also check into NEO oil. The NASA Spec SE-R series have a few guys running it due to transission failure problems in Quaife'd SE-Rs... IIRC they have a lightweight, heavyweight, and super-heavyweight oil. I forget, though...

The 75W90 will work. Redline MT-90 is also rated at 75W90. Our tranny recommends 80W90, so both the Redline stuff have a wider range than stock.
Also, make sure that the redline stuff is GL-4. DO NOT use GL-5

DO NOT use Redline 75w90 hypoid gear oil(GL-5) in your tranny. It would destroy the syncros in no time flat.
MTL wouldn't be all that bad but...
You need to find Redline MT-90. Call around. No chain stores I know of carry it. Go to redline's website at http://www.redlineoil.com and use the dealer locator to find a dealer near you.
Great stuff. Just make sure you get the right stuff.....

Ahaaa, so that's the difference between Redline 75W90 and MT-90, the GL spec.
Yeah, gotta keep it GL4.

I've always used RedLine in all my vehicles. Way expensive and way good. Go for RedLine for any sor of gear oil(tranny, differential, transfer case, etc). Their motor oil is fantastic too, but way too expensive and overkill for any sort of normal street-driven motor...
Amsoil has always seemed like too much of a cult or something to me.... scary.... They probably make good stuff but they've got that whole wierd pyramid-scheme distributor thing....
And typically if someone really does make the best products, why wouldn't they sell through normal stores?

Cultish huh?Normal stores can be a distribution nightmare, I think it's easier for them to juts dump the issues on us dealers. They seem really focused on research, not marketing. As for good products, Bill's spreadsheet seems to support that Amsoil holds up much better than Redline. Since Bill isn't affiliated with Amsoil in any, I'd say his support of the product means quite a bit.
