I have '97 SE.

I'm thinking about getting front strut bar.
Can you guys tell me which brand makes good one for Maxima?
Are those ones on ebay, good or ok? Do you recommend or not?

Also, if you already have one on your Maxima, can you tell me any experience about it?

If you want one that looks better, get the Stillen one. Email Tustin Nissan regarding this, they had the best price the last time I checked. It'll cost you around 180 bucks.

Do a search for pictures and more info regarding these bars. They all perform the same. It's a no-brainer mod.

Like ljl10 said, They are all about the same. I have one and the ride is a bit better when u turn. But don<t expect too much from it. It's mainly there to reduce the torsion on your car.

 

The difference is noticeable for the price, though. I'm really happy with mine (which I just installed today), but I don't think I'd be willing to pay $180 for it. For that much money you could get a better speed bost from an PR CAI or better handling from a rear sway bar. If you can get one cheap from Ebay, though, do it...
