Repainting car, opinions on what color (pearl white)

I am about to have my car repainted. I just want to get every single ding, nick, flaw, scratch, etc. out and start with a clean slate (plus I have some new '97 bumpers and grill and ground effects, etc. to paint). I want opinions from you guys of what color to go with. Here's the thing though: I LOVE pearl white. I bought this car for a reason, because it's pearl white. So please don't answer "VW silver" or "Viper blue", etc. Those are nice but I want pearl white. So my question is, what pearl white? Should I stay with the factory pearl white? Or go with something different (Ex. Lexus, Infiniti, Audi, Cadillac, etc.)? Please tell me who you think makes the best pearl white. Thanks.

Do you have any idea what other cars come with pearl white factory paint?

I'm still surprised at the number of cars these days who just have plain white paint... (sorry, too lazy to check for cars/color combos right now!)

Probably the best pearl white I ever saw was on my uncle's Porsche 911. that car was beautiful. Had the fat fenders and all. And the paint...it looked like there was a half an inch of creamy looking clear coat. there was soooo much depth to that paint job and I believe it was stock. Probably a lot of layers refracting between each other gave it that depth.

I say keep the pearl white, it's a great color.

I've always liked the off-white (I guess some might call it ivory or cream) on Audis - probably same paint as Porsce uses.

Yesterday, I saw a newer Oldsmobile(!!!) Alero that had blinding white pearl paint - like there was a bad glare was coming off it.

Are you planning to take out your engine and trim, etc?

If not, stick with pearl white. I think it's a great color too (see my sig, I've got one too)

SC300 pearl white.

I like the pearl that you see on the old Lexus SC 300s and SC 400s. just a little more dramatic.
