Rough Idle???
Rough Idle???
I've recently changed the spark plugs and wires on a 88 maxima and now it's running rough? Like it want to cut off even when i'm driving and stopping at a light. Could there be another problem i've over looked?

The Bosch wires aren't bad. But the Delco plugs might not be working. AC's are generally for GM's. Try maybe Fram's, or maybe some NGK's. The heat range and gap of Delco's aren't meant for imports.
Also, check the gap of the plugs. Just because they may be "pre-gapped" doesn't mean squat. A lot of gaps change over time, especially with shipping to suppliers, and long shelf lives.

NGK's installed yesterday for me. V- power kind. You can get them from Advanced Auto Parts stores, if you have one where you live. Theres the regular or the v-power. I got the v- power kind

Check your distributor cap and rotor, also check your plug wires. Those are alot of the times the culprit, also make sure your timing is set correctly, good luck

Check the connections to the injectors, they may need to be cleaned or replaced. there is a wire loom kit for about $35 to replace all six injector connectors. Also the hoses on the idle air regulator and other vaccume lines may have cracked when changing the plugs.
