Greddy cat-back with WS y-pipe and PR CAI. Guys at the autocross swear that I have a V-8; it sounds a lot like a Camaro SS at WOT.

I think he meant he had 4K to spend on a maxima at auction. Not, he has 4K to modify one.

Hmm...I REALLY don't know about that...In fact the maxima cannot sound anything like a camaro SS, it has soo much more displacement. Try doing revvs and accelerating with a Camaro SS with the same exhaust mods one after another, it'll sound alot different.

I think duals paired with borla/flowmasters gives the deepest tone, becuase there is more piping and Flowmasters/borla is very unrestrictive.

OK

Heres my change on the topic....

Yes I hear GReddy is very LOUD....he seems to want loud...

Sinewave told you his setup, and the pic of his car is in his sig......so you see what the GReddy looks like now?

Craig Mack - the more piping you have to your exhaust, the more restrictive it is......theres a friction term called minor loss and a term called major loss, bends and elbow fittings are minor losses for example, while straight lengths of pipe cause major losses and a greater pressure loss.....

I do like flowmasters though...

While were on exhaust, I was talking with a tech. and he said that a stock engine maxima with a 2.5" catback is being starved.....regardless of what anyone says if you crack it open there will be deposits....his mostly exact words.....I told him he doesnt deserve my money

If he thinks 2.5" is starving for a 3.0L N/A V6 he's a boob. My exhaust guy actually told me 2.5" is proly bigger than needed and 3" is by far overkill.
