The name of the company is Performance Friction. These pads come with the shims stamped on the back so you don't have to use the rusted originals to stop the squealing.
I tested their stopping power and I must say they're much better than the Metal Matrix pads. I recommend these pads to anyone looking to get a good pad with good stopping power.

These pads work man. I don't even have to apply more pressure to the brakes to get them to grab and the hotter they get, the better. No more Stillen pads for me.
i have the same ones but i don't know about the minimal dusting compared to the OEM's on my rear's these dust like a **** make my rim black in a week! but i just got some axis semi-metallic for my rear set to be installed next sunday so we shall see what those are like.

I have these on my 3rd and 4th gen and love them. as far as not dusting i gotta disagree. maybe i am a "little" harder on the brakes than you guys but $hit i got dust all over. i know AutoZone sells rear pads for the maxima but when did the Performance Friction brand become availabel for the rear?
you cant beat the performance vs dollar spent on these plus the lifetime guarantee. got my 1st set in 99 and got a second for free. all ya gotta do is return the cores/backing plate in good shape and every other set should be free.

Matt, I made sure I put a decent amount of the anti-squeal grease on the back of the pads so we'll see.

I have some experience with these pads
These pads were used on my dads 94 929 with cross drilled rotors and they performed very well. I drove that car almost exclusively and it brought that big car to a hault with zero squeal and minimal dusting. When he sold the 929 he bought a 99 Expedition. And when it was time to change pads we went right back to a set of Performance Friction S/M pads for the Expedition and they out performed the stock pad tremendously and didn't squeel either. I must be a pretty lucky guy with brakes or I must be very consistent with the installations. Because I've never had a problem with brakes squealing unless they were worn out. This goes for Performance Friction, Stillen aka Axxis, and Bendix.
Re: I have some experience with these pads
I replaced my Porterfield R4S with the Performance Friction pads. This is the front axle only and I am using cross drilled rotors w/ braided steel lines.
I drove them easy for about 400 miles and then started abusing them. No squeal, no fade, and harder stops than my R4S. Also, the R4S wore out in about 15k miles.
In summation: $90 for R4S plus shipping or $33.50 for pfc. The choice is clear!
