how long does this take?
How long does it take to install an ECU? (stock)
The reason I am asking is because my friend has a 2k2 Civic (please don't flame me for asking about a civic, but the guys on Honuh forum are morons and no one gave me a normal answer) and he needs to install a new stock ECU. Now the dealership wants to charge him $250CA for the job and they say it takes 3 hours.
Can we do this ourselves? or is there something fishy about those ECUs that only a dealership can do?
