Parking Lights

I did a search for how to replace the stock parking lights with the Polarg bulbs. I can't find anything, nor can I figure out how to do it my self. How do you get the stock bulb out to replace it.

Thanks in Advance

Do you mean the sidemarkers or the front 1157 turn signal/parking light bulb? There are How-Tos on the sidemarker replacement, and the 1157 just twists out if I remember correctly.

not the side marker light. I am talking about the round light in the headlight assembly that is above the turn signal. You said that they are twist out, what do you twist and how hard?. I was twisting pretty hard earlier and they wouldn't budge

Is there not some mention of bulb replacement...

in the owner's manual?

RU4REAL: Not sure if you were referring to the 2002's or our 2001's? I think ours are pretty simple, but not sure about the HID's....

Yeah, I just noticed he has a 2002. Dunno 'bout that
Owner's manuals are actually useful sometimes.

Driver's side sucks.

I had the same problem, it is easy to find the 1157 bulbs, pretty much any custom car store has them, but installing them isn't hard either. The passenger side is simple to do, just twist it out and put it back in without touching the bulb with bare hands. The driver side is tougher, twist it out and put the bulb in, but it took me about 30 minutes to put it back in because the space is so damn tight. Let me know how you do and how it looks, i love it on my 2k2. Hope that helps you out.

which way are you facing. cuz from my understanding, "righty tighty lefty loosy". It doesn't make sense to me why the drivers side would be different than the passenger side, unless you turned around when did the passenger side

Re: Driver's side sucks.

Yeah I got the PIAA Xtreme bulbs for parking lights, but they kinda look blue and I don't really like them.

I was pain putting them in though, so I am not sure if I will replace them to anything else. I scrached my arm up pretty good getting them in there.

How do the Polarg bulbs look? Any pics?

Thanks.

I have the Polargs. It was much weaker than expected. I think the stock ones emit more light. The Polargs just look more whiter...
