Nice catch!

I especially enjoyed the part about them slowing down from 80 to 30! What a bunch of tards!

Now ... I'm liking the side profile .. but that front & rear ... uggh! I like the G35 rear better than that!

Me likes it very soooo much....

I also like to brake hard from 80 to 30 when people take pix of my car! It gives my rotors a nice workout!

Guys, it *is* a prototype. Of course they're going to make it look as ugly as they possibly can. Almost all protoypes i've seen are either clad with ugly vinyl, weirdo paint or excess panels.

If anything, this is probably the best looking prototype i've seen to date. Even the Z350 didn't look as good during the first couple of proto's.

I realize its a prototype but it kind of threw me off with not having the vinyl all over it.

Side profile looks exactly like the Alty you can see where they taped the C-Pillar. I'll bet that thing in the middle of the grill is just to hide it also. Everyone seems to hate it, but it's not the size of a Crown Vic like most of you thought it would. I think the car has potential, the front air dam needs a much larger opening and to be honest, I don't think Nissan will get the tails right on the 6th gen this time around either. The drive train is what will make my final decision. I need to see more pics before I pass judgement. Great job BrianV..........

Wow, that thing is ugly as sin! I'll take the altima, even with the cheesy interior

Watch Brian's web site disappear due to technical difficulties . . .

My interior is bigger than a Crown Vic on the inside. Nice compact dimensions on the outside. That new Maxima must be the size of a Continental on the inside, but just a wee bit bigger than the new Altima on the outside.

The dimensions of the car are perfect IMO. I don't know how well it will handle, but i'm a straight line acceleration type of guy anyway. I see alot of potential in those spy shots and Soundmike is right, most prototypes are hideous, while here you can see the true lines of the car very well, the front end could use a little tweaking, I think its needs a slighty larger grill and as for the rear....well we all know Nissan. Personally, if this car has a great suspension/drivetrain and is not too pricey, (a little over 30K is my limit on any Maxima) this might be Maxima #4 for me. If not hello G35 Sedan or Audi A6.

I just showed the pics to my friend that works for Nissan Corporate here. He said most likely that is just a test mule. Test mule's are combinations of chassis, driveline and component types used to test those systems. For example, a future engine for a 350Z may be installed in an Altima chassis for testing.

Oops, pushed submit too quick... He also said Toyota and Honda national headquarters are both within 5 miles of the Nissan HQ in LA.

CANT you guys see the "not so good" photoshoping done to the rear tails and the front grill?

I think this was suppose to be a JOKE.
