new to forum. need opinion on installing

a mechanic in long beach said he will provide the H&R springs with the labor for 299 and he said I could go ahead and bring my shox and he will do everything for that price. Sounds like a good deal. What do you guyz think? Oh yeah, he wants cash.

P.S. Do you guyz think the H&R will look lowered enough? Because I have heard people talking about how it just looks like stock.

get a recipt.. first of all..

spring install is an easy one to f'ck up and no recipt you are f'cked..

that price seems ok.. i did it much cheaper in my own parking lot.. H&R's don't sit that low.. but they give a great ride quality with a very controled ride.. great improvement over stock..

So basically you are getting the springs for 200 bucks (brand new, right?) and having them installed along with the shocks/struts you are (or might be) bringing in for 100 bucks. Thats a good deal, esp. if you've never worked on your suspension before.
See if you can stick around while he does it so you can learn how it's done. If anything goes wrong in the future, you can fix it yourself.
