Noise level with B-pipe and Stillen Muffler ....Y2K

Thinking about installing a B-pipe. I currently have just the Stillen Muffler which generates very little noise but looks good. I was wondering how much the sound level would increase by adding the pipe?.. and also will i see any increase in Horsepower? Thanks in advance for your comments!

Different strokes for different folks . . .
I installed a custom catback system using 2-1/2" mandrel-bent piping and a 24" Magnaflow muffler (straight-through design). Sounds good, looks good, pulls good . . . especially at higher rpms.
One of the mags did an article some time ago on a 2K Maxima with an HKS exhaust (mandrel bends, straight-through muffler design, 2-1/2" piping). If I remember correctly, the exhaust alone was worth an additional 5 horsepower at the wheels.

Agreed, yo . . .
5 horsepower is really no big deal. I didn't get an aftermarket exhaust for performance reasons. I really got it because I wanted to hear my pipes.
