Beat a RSX but just by a nose

Friend just got a RSX couple of months ago. and tonight I had to race. from the start i had a better launch and i had him by a nose and won by the same length. But should i have beaten him by more??? I've read people beating the rsx by aot more than i beat my friend. Is it me or is people exagerating their kills...

Well, it would help if you mentioned what type of car your drove, and if it was auto or manual and if the car your were racing was auto or manual...and then mention if there are any mods involved...and if you suck at shifting or something.

RSX beaten

I raced a new RSX in the 2k2:6. Im sure his was manual, we both had one passenger, his was not the R type or whatever and when we raced my car pulled on him as if he was standing still like 1 car length every 2 seconds. Very bad *** whooping for the RSX. Like all the ***** cars ive been racing in the 6m (Modded mustang V6, Civic, 98GTmustang) he had to ask if I had mods. I dont think people are believing me with the beatings they've been recieving. You have to love a sleeper.

Re: RSX beaten

There is no RSX Type-R in the US that i know of. (except showroom). So you must be saying it's not the Type-S. If that's the case, then of course you'd beat them... The regular RSX only has 160hp on it. The Max puts way more HP to the wheels than the RSX has at the crank.

Then again, either way... a win is a win

OOOOO Brother , when he heard the Chuuuupp PSSHHHHHHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhh when I shifted to 2nd, he backed off. Wise young Man

my friend took his RSX to the track for the first time last week and didn't have much trouble running a 14.8 (his first time drag racing) all he has is an intake.

I don't know why everybody thinks the RSX is so slow, its not.

RSX 5-Auto - Okay
RSX 5-Manual - Good
RSX-S - Better
RSX-R - Yumm.

Probably because on the RSX board the Types S have a hard time running low 15's, the average on the board is like 15.3-4. Your friend is like you, a natural born Killer on the track.

There's a guy with cat-back/intake and I think a few other bolt ons *and a 40 shot running a 13.8 @ 100.XXMPH. And some ppl here that are almost there(VI possibly) N/A in Maximas.

This guy I know in a Black RSX-S has Intake, a Muffler, and Falken Azenis 215-45-16's and is running a 14.6. He ran a 15.0 stock.

I never raced an RSX (auto)off the line but I have raced one on a highway from 60mph to 120 and it was a "walk in the park". I basically
toyed with it. The type S on the other hand I have no experience with.
