if YOU ARE READING this PLEASE HELP 911

hey i am installing 1157 polargs RIGHT NOW and the nubs are messed up! i tried putting it in and noticed the two nubs on each side is at the same level as appolsed to one being higher as it should. ANYONE KNOW how to solve this PLEASE HELP IM INSTALLING THIS NOW

are you sure they are 1157's???
they could be 1156's...

are they M14's?

don't really understand your prob, i have 1157's in my car, the bulbs have two *****, they should just pop in where your stock bulbs were. You try testing if the lights work?

these AREA DEFINATLY 1157 AND im saying the nub on both sides are the same height. they are SUPPOSED to be one higher, one lower. i still dont know what to do im waiting for someone to help

I thought one was bigger than the other.

They're obviously made wrong or you bought the wrong ones. The front blinker light and the corner lamp have similar looking bulbs, but one of em has two level nubs and the other one has one nub higher than the other. You can try to use a cutting plier to remove one of the nubs so it'll fit, if you know what i mean. But i'd just forget about it and get new bulbs that are the right ones.

im goign to shave one of the sides off.....maybe i would have done this anyway to make it brighter

What if you want to return the bulbs??

And this wasn't 911 Emergency... crap your car still runs

sound like you got 1156 bulbs. maybe someone at the factory made a mistake. i think if you cut one nub off they will work but at 27w. i used a nail clipper to cut my 1157's. good luck.
