Jumppy acceleration

When I am accelerating at half throttle or less my car jumps or lurches between 3-4k rpm, will bad O2's cause this?

I have the same problem with my max. My mechanic says it could be my knock sensor or some other sensor. Sorry ,I cant remember which but he says he's gonna price how much it will cost to fix. Does anyone know how much this might cost?

Knock sensor ECU code 0304

110 dollars from the thepartsbin.com, or 165 from Nissan.

O2 sensor, about 75 dollars each, because there are two cylinder banks, therfore two paths fot the ECU to read off of, so hence 2 O2 sensors.

Knock Sensor is under the IM.

O2 sensors are on the y-pipe.

It also may be your MAF, do the MAF test, turn the car on, tap the MAF and if the car stutters, then that's your problem, again $249 from thepartsbin and about 500 from nissan.

Maybe use fuel injector cleaner.

Change your fuel filter, or maybe change the spark plugs or bettr yet, clean your TB.

Well I've done every thing you said here and I forgot to mention my car threw the code 0707 rear heated O2, whats screwed up is I told a shop that it threw that code and he wouldn't change the O2 for me he said that it was probably just clogged up, I reset the light and it stayed off, I would have changed the O2 myself but I havent had the money to buy one since I took it to the shop last time, I get paid this week so I will definitly get all of them changed, My engine was also pinging but it never threw a knock sensor code, and when you say tap the maf do you actually mean tap it like with your hand? And one more question, about a year ago I put a Weapon R dragon intake on my car in the directions they left out what to do with the air temp sensor that was in the stock air box, I left some of the old stock intake piping in so I wouldn't have to relocate the boost sensor, and I drilled a hole in one of those pipes and placed the temp sensor in it, does the temp sensor need to be in the path of the intake or does it matter?

I don't think the ambiebt temp sensor has to be in the flow path, mine isn't

Mines actually dangling somewhere in the engine bay, but I would suggest zip tie it somewhere close to your filter.

As for teh MAF njmaxsetld suggested that to me one time, so yea, just tap it on it's head a few times w/ your hand.
