Need Help with BMW zkw parabolic / Freefrom headlight conversion!

I need to know how you all wired up the 4 wires coming form the BMW wiring harness to the stock Maxima wiring with only 3 wires. Black one being the ground and then a low beam and a high beam positve on the maxima!

Thanks!

Also I am not some newbie that just fell off the turnip truck! I know there is only one other person that owns a 3rd gen with the ZKW European H7 parabolic/ freeforms in his car... Jdwyer.
If any one else knows though that would be nice as these are "NOT" stock e36 headlights, and Alldata doesn't help me any with the diagrams as it does not have euro diagrams of the lights

Thanks!

Isn't the third one for the parking lights?
Use a battery charger (limited amps) hook up the ground wire, and touch the others one by one to the positive wire. If they are European, prior to angels' eyes, the parging light, I believe, is in the high beam unit.

Good luck,
John

This is on every web page with a write up. However, there are 2 pairs from the BMW lights. With each pair, you have 1 ground wire (the others being for the regular and high beams). Tie the 2 ground wires together, now you have 3 unique connection points...

Just like on your vehicle. Voila!

I did the zkw lights a while back, but I didn't have to cut that much more off. I still have the radiator support there. Didn't have to cut it off. Take a look at my homepage, its the 3rd page

Kenny those are not the same types I have! You have the ZKW Euro Ellipsoids that use H1 bulbs. I have the ZKW h7 parabolic/freeforms, not the ellipsoids. Mine are bigger then yours no Scheit. the low beam housing on the back side is about 1&3/4 inches longer then yours. I also didn't do exactly what Jon did and left the radiator support but unfortunately cut up my front bumper so new bumper for me

yeah it does matter a lot. The parabolic/Free Form ZKW H7, e36 headlights have a wider dispersment of the light produced, even better then the H1 equipped ZKW or Bosch Ellipsoids. Why do you think the ellipsoids were replaced by these headlights! These us an h7 bulb opposed to a H1 which is more efficent as well! I wouldn't have any other headlights man these are the shizznat!
