Do you know where the leak is coming from?

Should be the rear Timing Cover Oil Seal...

dealer quoted me for $1200...(no money to fix by dealer)

You could use a heavier weight oil like a 10W-30 or a 10W-40, or in extreme cases a 20W-50. This will slow the loss due to leakage but is a pretty temporary fix, as you still need to do the repair at some point. An independent shop would be much cheaper than the dealer.

I think I saw your post in the earlier months, the dealer told me the same exact thing, I did have a pretty bad oil leak as well. They told me they had to take half of my engine apart. After removing the blower and spraying break cleaner to clean the complete side of the engine where the blower goes turns out the oil leak was coming from the oil return plate. Took me 4 hours to fix the leak. maybe you should buy some cheap break cleaner and clean it up yourself and see if you can fix that leak yourself vice paying a lot of cash. In my case I did not feel like bringing the car back stock and then bringing it in, it is still under warranty.
