I'm a fourth for the nice write-up, I need to do the same thing for my car. I've got a little oil leak. It hasn't turned into a real problem yet, besides the smoking at red lights, but I wanna nip it in the bud. I now feel better about doing it myself. Also, does anyone know how much different it's gonna be for me with a 90 GXE, cause I know my setup is a lot different regarding that.

well...u might wanna reconsider what is leaking because i burned zero oil b/f the repair, this is because although oil was leaking into the cylinder passage or whatever, it did not enter the chamber because the spark plugs were in the way. the only thing the bad valve cover was hurting was the ignition coils...i would definitly purchase a manual on how to do this b/f u attempt it, and search more, theres a little info out there...
