So if I get some regular 198 bulbs or leds, will they push into that little twist base the the guage cluser uses? Or do I have to find a 198 bulb with the twist base already on it. As I surf ebay I see some pretty good looking stuff and all is better than the old yellowy bulbs in there now(which were originaly covered by a green condom since I have a gxe). I've had the se guages for some time now, but I want a better look.

you don't need the twisty thing..its just pull the old bulb out, put the new one in..
also, as for your bulb size, you made a hybrid size..lol...168 or 194, not 198
isnt there also 154 or something that fits?

 

lol, I was gonna say........I used 194 regular bulbs...and yes, they will fade shortly , I need to get some quad-headed LEDs
