cost to instal springs??

I am looking to lower my car, besides the cost of the springs, how much would it cost to get them installed. I really would rather not deal with taking out the struts, compressing the srings and all that. I have seen people say it takes quite a long time to do on your own. I dont have the tools or the time. So anyone have a place do it for them and how much?

Takes less than hour w/ tools as Maximus75 and I proved.
Takes less than two hours w/ spring compressor and hand tools + friend.
Takes almost 3 hours by yourself w/ hand tools.

Cost: Free - $180. By the Books, its 6.0hrs of labor cost, but can be done in less time.

not more than $200.

no matter where you take your car, it should NOT be more than $200.

Son of a......... Less than an Hour is a record. I wouldve paid to see that one. I think I could pull it off tops 1.5hrs with an impact wrench and jacks.

i am vaugely familiar with what needs to be done, what tools would you need besides a torque wrench and spring compressor that are out the ordinary? seems quicker than what most say, not to mention would be using hand crank jack. Sucks not to even have a driveway to work in. I hate the city for not giving me a driveway.

Never said you *didn't believe me*...a lift, one air gun, hand tools + wall mounted compressor.

Maximus75 even played w/ the spring position on all the springs, just so they sat correctly.

You had to see it to believe it.

It's a learning experience, but in the end you'll feel good about it.
