street scene 97-99 upper grille, better than trenz?

I've received a lot of negative feedback on my upper trendz grille, some say it looks similar to that of a caprice . The gap and flatness arent very attractive, but I still personally like the Trenz grille better than stock. A buddie of mine found the street scene grille for the 97-99 maxima and I ordered it with the intention of checking it out and sending it back if it looked worse than the Trenz. Does anyone have any experience with or pics of these grilles on 97-99 maximas? Thanks.

what gap, flatness are you talking about? I seen the street scene grill on a 5th gen and it looks good but seems like too many ppl in my area have mesh everything. anyways, please take pics of the grill when you get it on because I never seen how it looks on a 4th gen.
I personally love how the trenz looks but some others dont but hey, its not their car

I don't care for the horizontal bars on the Trenz, so I've wanted to see this type of grill on a 4th gen ever since I saw one on a 5th gen. Sure would like to see photos of it when you've had a chance to install it.

Redmax, I'm curious why you think it's a ripoff. It's about the same price as the Trenz...prolly looks better IMHO....what's the problem? Or do you know where to get it for less, or know for a fact that it's poorly made or something? Just askin'...

That is also my next mod for the summer, I am also debating the Trenz grille versus the Street Scenes grille, but the last place I talked to about buying it said that Street Scenes hadn't even tooled the grille for 4th gens yet, so they didn't know when it would ship, I would like to see pics too....

Hmmm, Redmax's link goes right to a page with grilles for 99s, says "ships in 24-48 hours". I haven't called 'em 'cause I don't get to have it yet...

Personally, I think the Trendz grille is definitely the nicest. Thats why I have it. The mesh is also nice but the trans am looking one is just plain ugly. no offense.

I am actually debating getting the bottom grille myself. It looks nice but I am just worried that the entire front end will look too cluttered.

Kinda like the 'hollow' look along with the Stillen lip. Tough choice....

Spend 5 bux more for extra mesh and cut the center strip off the stock grill and you get a Street Scene grill for $10.

Like redmax said, its a rip off.

I like the way your front looks... first tan/beige maxima I have seen with the lower valance.
