I've posted awhile ago about having some difficulty with starting my car. It'll start up and then shut off. It always starts but it takes some tries to do so, no more than 2-3. If I drive it for a distance and start it up again it starts up with no problem. I've had everything checked, could it be a fuel injector? Someone suggested it could be a crankshaft position sensor. I don't know. It doesn't happen all the time so can't have things replaced not knowing if the repair will solve the problem. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

I had this same problem with my '99 when i went to start it in the mornings, or after work. I cleaned my TB one day, and ever since then the problem has dissapeared. You may wanna try this $2.00, 20 minute cleaning, it may help.

 

...can you please tell me what a TB is? I'm not a mechanic so a little uniformed about that. Thanks again

 

make sure the fuel filter is not clogged
