Today i just got it installed. Dam its so fun hitting the gas. It growls when i hit the gas hard. Is there away making it louder. I wish it was louder. Anything pass 5k rpm it stops and when its 2.5 it growls a little. I think my idle is alittle lower too. I think it might save gas. Will see. Dam so fun wish it was louder without pressing the gas so hard. Ahahha

 

You think it sounds cool now??? if you get an upper intake tube and get rid of the accordian and the resonator (hybrid setup) it will sounds even better.

 

Coo i want to do that. People say these pop chargers whistle. But i don't hear and whistle from my stillen pop charger. ITs all good.

 

I get a little whistle if i have my windows down, its not annoying at all though, only when i have the gas pedal barely pushed and if i want to get rid of it i just just push the pedal more... goodbye gas mileage. It whistles more though with my place racing upper intake... it sure makes your car stand out in a crowd enjoy it

 

I installed my stillen intake last week!!!!! Yippie its fun going fast really it is!!! it is!!! it is!!!it is!!!

 

Installed mine myself on Monday (had to go to Cdn. Tire for a long enough socket to reach some of the bolts, and do some contortions), but man, it RIPS!!

I love the growl and the extra acceleration. I too find that it really goes from about 2500 - 5500 RPMs, but that's enough for me. If the upper intake makes it even noiser, I would definitely go for that!!

On a related note, it's interesting that the three guys who recently installed a Stillen Intake have the name RED somewhere in their nicknames (okay, mine is Blaxxxima cuz the car is black, but my real nickname is RedBag... lol)
