Hey everyone, i was wondering if any of you have ever raced a VR6 jetta, or the 1.8t jetta- and was wondering how the race went. Also, if you havent raced one, i was wondering if you have the specs on them (ie. 1/4 mile, top speed, 0-60, that kinda crap) any input is appreciated.

 

0-60 7 something for the 1.8T high 15's for the 1/4.

Don't hold me to this, but I think a while back, this was discussed. People said the Max is faster than both of them. IMO, I think the MAX will be faster than both of them also.

its not the Jetta's you have to worry about - its the new 1.8t Golf's that humble you...

 

The Golfs arent any faster than the Jettas. The VR6s arent to much to deal with, but the modded 1.8t cars get real fast.

They are lucky, a $500 ECU upgrade will get them 50hp and 80lb-ft...with no other mods...

 

i underestimated this one jetta. i had crazy wheelspin in the beginning off the light but in the end he was about a car ahead of me. 1.8 t.. im thinking he was chipped, i thought my y pipe was sufficient but i was outta practice and you just never know when those things are chipped. quick but i dont htink theyre that fast
