Just De-Pinstriped My Max

So I just took off the gold pin stripe on my sage mist green max.
Let me tell you how it went.

It was pretty hot out, and decided to start w/ the driver side. It just peeled right off. Cleaned off the excess residue, and wahlaa, looks real pretty.

Now as you could have guessed, when I did the passenger side, it was a disaster. Took me about 2 hours, and I had to use a paint scraper.
Such a pain in the A**.

But now looking at the car, it was worth it.
Later,
Mike

dam, you just lost 2hp at wheels by taking off those pinstrips....heh, my friend just took them off his prelude too, its amazing how such a little things can make the whole car look cleaner. Make sure you wax the newly exposed spots

Personally, I think it should be an option to put pinstripes on a car! Luckily, my Max didn't come with them on.
