I went through a company called International Parts Search and got my manual tranny two years ago for $1,000. It had a 6,000 mile or 6 month warrenty. I was told that they inspect them and only rebuild them if needed. My tranny mechanic incspected it and said it was fine. Two years later, drag racing and all, it still works fine, just need to replace the Auto Zone clutch, couldn't afford much more at the time. The number to the company is 1-800-825-3121. I had to check an older book, it wasn't listed in my new one. Or try E-Auto parts Inc # 1-800-366-9815. I've not dealt with these people, but it should work about the same. They will want your old tranny as a core. I used Gator trucking, they were really cheap, much less than UPS!
