Does anyone sell the intake midpipe for my 2k1? I'm talking the pipe between the MAF sensor and the throttle body. I already have the BerkTech intake, but want a slightly smoother flow into the TB and to clean up my engine bay.

Dumb question... what does a midpipe do?

 

it's part of an intake system that smooths out the airflow further, cleans up the engine bay, looks nice, and sounds way better tehn just a regular pop while bringing back some of gteh low end you lose with a pop.

Is my Maxima going to reject the Frankencar Midpipe if it's already gotten attached to the BerkTech intake?

If you have Berk pop-intake, the Frankencar midpipe will work fine with it.

 

I just got done installing the Frankencar midpipe with my Berk intake. Sounds SWEEEETT!

 

I've already gotten the berk intake as well, and I can't wait for the frank mid-pipe! Sounds like that's what a lot of people have on the 2k2.

 

I just got mine, too. Like the Berk Tech intake (which I got when they first rolled out for less than $40) I'd be happy with just a VISUAL improvement for $55! Hopefully, I'll get a little bump in the low end and a little more SOUND outta my Max.

I'll report back when I have it installed.
