Of course, don't put your pink slip on it!
that's a pretty descent time for the se-r. the one i ran and several others i saw run in the low 16's. but maybe they're just bad drivers...

I drove my buddies 2k2 SE-R to a 15.31@90mph at the track, and we all know a 2k1 Max is about that range or slower, so it would be very close.

A 90mph trap is about average, a 5th gen auto would be lucky to top that. What's your trap speed? I have seen a couple at the track running in the 15.5-15.3 range.

My roomate bought a 2k2 SE-R Spec V. The thing would not keep from breaking the wheels. The car didnt get going till sometime in 2nd. I would bet that on the street you should be able to leave him on the line. They are pretty quick, but I think you can take him at the end. Now track or someone who know how to get that thing off the line, you have your hands full.

I remember PlanoSER saying that he ran a 15.4 bone stock with his at the track.
Hmmmmm, alligator vs. shark, depends on how deep the water is. In the ocean, the shark would emerge victorious. However, in water where the alligator could stand, the shark would lose. Just my thoughts......

THe reason I asked
I was in the car with my girl the other nigh in Orlando and I pull up to this SE-R. He was all actin like a tough guy and I thought it would be a fun race in my 2k1 MAX AE so I was like sure why not. The light turned green and I wasn't sure if he wanted to race so I hit the gas enough for my wheels to chirp and then he looks over at me like yea right buddy and hits the gas, he took off very quickly but I didn't go because my girl was in the car and she always biotches @me whenever I race, and I didn't feel like hearing about how I don't care about her or my safety or anyone elses blah blah....blah. Till this day I can't wait to find another SE-R and give it my all. THanks to everyone for you posts.
Peace
