You need some speed holes in your hood.

Do you have a stock exhaust system or modified? Check for any loose joints that get seperated when the car is warmed up? I have never heard symptoms like this one before.

I have a ractive muffler too and mine always has a grunt to it. I took of my cat though so that could be the difference between the two. I like how the mufflers sound though. It's the best one I've had on it and they are quite cheap.

Would you rather have your car sounding like a civic with an Apexi dunk??

i would probably say it has something to do with the cat being cold causing it to be quite.
ive noticed on my other car that has a apexi N1 exhaust in the morning it kind has a higher pitch to it but as soon as it warms up it gets nice and deep.
on the other hand the N1 is a loud exhaust system no matter what car you put it on.
unless turbo or supercharged.
