Someone please confirm suspension part #'s

There seems to be a little discrepancy in the part #s for the rubber seats polyurethane sleeves in the "Changing Suspension/Noise from suspension" thread. Can someone please verify these part #'s for my 96?

- Front -

Strut Bearing 54325-5V000

Rubber seat 54034-0W000 ?????????? or 54034-0W000?????

Polyurethane sleeve 54034-85E10

- Rear -

Strut Spacer 56218-61L10

Rubber Seat 55034-31U00

Polyurethane sleeve 55031-33P10 <-----this one shows up on http://www.nissanparts.cc/ as Seal-rubber,front. Is it correct?

Isolation Bushing 56218-61L10

Re: Someone please confirm suspension part #'s

I cannot totally clarify what you are asking but I think you and I are doing the same thing. I'm going to be changing suspension to agx/eibach combo. I want to use the oem spring isolation sleeves which are called seal-rubber on the list description. I have a 95. For the 95-96 the FSM calls for our car to only use one pair on the fronts and one pair on the rears. A total of 4 sleeves.
For the 97-99 the FSM calls for 3 pairs for the front and one pair on the rears. A total of 8 sleeves. You are correct. There are totally different part numbers for the 95-96 and the 97-99 when it comes to the front sleeves. In fact I believe when I was at the dealer looking at the prices we concluded that the front were all the same thing with different part numbers.

I basically concluded that it doesn't really matter if you get the 95-96 or the 97-99 sleeves because I will be using aftermarket springs anyways. I just want the isulation to reduce noise. No one else has been able to confirm this but that's what I have deduced.

Looks like I will be changing the strut bearings too. This is all I'm planning to change. I bought the kyb dust boots.
so the part numbers I have are for the 97-99
54034-85e10 front bottom seal rubber/isolation sleeves (need 2)
54034-31u10 front top seal rubber/isolation sleeves (need 4)
55031-33p10 rear bottom/isolation sleeves (need 2)
54325-5v000 bearing strut/strut bearing (need 4)

nissanparts.cc price is 160.07 for everything plus shipping
I'm going to try the tustinnissanparts.com guy first. He posts on the group deal forum. Sounds like he's a good guy to work with and I don't live too farm from him.

Please let me know if you and I are on the same page...
Good luck

Those are the same components that I will be replacing (Sleeves & bearings). I too bought the KYB dust boots. The reason I posted was because of the minor discrepancy in part #'s on the suspension thread. What's weird is that I got a whole different set of part #'s from my local Nissan parts dept. Anyways, I assumed the part #'s for the sleeves wouldn't matter and I just wanted some verification (which you so kindly did). Now I have a quick question for you? Why did you list that you will need 4 strut bearings?? Aren't there only 2 in the front total? Am I wrong in thinking that the rear have no bearings?

Actually I think you may have clarified some things for me
I just assumed that you needed new strut bearings in all four struts. I believe you're right we only need to order one pair for the front shocks. You just saved me 50 bucks.!!! Thanks I think you really helped me out here. I just needed a sounding board. I'm going to email matt at tustin nissan tustinnissanparts@hotmail.com
see what kind of price he can give me. I'll have to pay tax since I'm in CA but I think it'll still be cheaper than shipping. I'll let you know what I find out through this thread.

btw, what springs did you buy and what setting do you think you're going to use!!!

We're kinda helping each other here. Keep me posted on the prices you get at Tustin. I'll be ordering Monday and am searching for the best prices too.

Here is the list I've compiled of the parts I am going to replace
FRONT
54325-5V000 Bearing-strut Qty.2
54034-0W000 Front Rubber seat Qty.2
54034-85E10 Polyurethane sleeve Qty.4 (I intend to wrap the springs top and bottom with this instead of spiral wrap)

REAR
55034-31U00 Rear Rubber Seat Qty.2
55031-33P10 Polyurethane sleeve Qty.4

Comes to $135.92 + Shipping on www.NissanParts.cc

Can anybody tell me if the OEM polyurethane sleeves will fit on the top and bottom of the coil springs???? I would definitely rather use them instead of the spiral wrap.

This is what nissanparts.cc has listed as price per unit. Located in WA

54034-0W000 Seat-rubber,front $10.99
55034-31U00 Seat Rubber, rear $8.29
54034-85E10 Seal-rubber,front $6.65
54034-31U10 Seat-rubber,front $9.59
55031-33P10 Seal-rubber,front $5.51
54325-5V000 Bearing-strut $24.35

This what tustinnissanparts@hotmail.com (Matt) has listed as price per unit. Matt seems like a nice guy that has really helped some people out. Located in CA

54034-0W000 Seat-rubber,front 11.52 ea
55034-31U00 Seat Rubber, rear 8.70 ea
54034-85E10 Seal-rubber,front 6.98 ea
54034-31U10 Seat-rubber,front 10.07 ea
55031-33P10 Seal-rubber,front 5.79 ea
54325-5V000 Bearing-strut 25.56 ea

Looks like i'll be going with tustinnissan because they are local to me and I can pick up. If I have problems i can work things out with a person. So with the stuff I've decided I need i'll be spending about $4.50 more which includes tax but I don't need to pay for shipping. I also got good customer service.
