i wanna know what was the consequence for them? how much was the ticket or do they take your car away? thanx

 

NOT A GOOD IDEA. Getting caught w/ strobes can be considered felony... could be considered "Impersonating a Police Vehicle"

 

I am not sure how true this is but I heard it from a friend with strobes on his BMW. He said that here in Alabama if a normal cop catches you with them it is a BIG fine (like around $500) but if a state trooper catches you they can take your license away. So if I did have them I would only use them at car shows, etc.

 

Hey guys, I have strobe lights in my door lights,on both sides, you know the lights that come on when you have one of the doors open...is it illegal to have these strobes inside my car?

 

As long as its not as visable from the outside and the lights arent pointing outward. The major illegal ones is when u install strobes in ure corner lenses or an external strobe connected somewhere on the outside of ure car
