Can you hook the ECU up to a monitor?

Is there any way to hook the ECU up to a monitor to show readings? I know this may sounds far fetched.. but it would be nice to have it hooked up to the monitor in my dash and show engine readings and things.

Some OBD-II readers will display and log data, might try starting your search there.

Depending on what kind of readings you want, Apexi's S-AFC and RSM show show engine readings...

well in my 99 se-l in the fuse box there is a plug. the plug hooks directly into the ecu. when you bring your car in for a problem the plug a machine in that they call the consult which reads all of the error codes.
