The 2nd generation taillights are sick, and i know a lot of you dont like them but, does anyone know when they are ganna have them come out for 1995 MAXIMA's? I just cracked my old ones so i want the new ones. I see the 2md gen. lights all over the internet but not for my 1995. when are they ganna come out with then? thanx

 

Are you talking about the ones with the LED rings in them? I wouldn't mind picking up a set, and customizing it so it would be more anti-rice.

I'm thinking of two ways:

Remove the clear lens cover, and either a) paint the inside of the entire outer lamp red so it is just a full red lamp. Use amber LED turn sig bulbs so when it lights up it will have an orange tint to it, and at the same time the ring of red LEDs will look even deeper red because of the painted lens. The 'trunk' portion of the lamp would hve to be painted as well, however leaving the circular section where the reverse lamp is clear.

Or, b) paint the chrome housing a deep gunmetal. Chrome looks too silly IMO.

You would rather have altezas over these? I think these look WAY better than altezas...although these are basically altezas...something a littel differest from everyone else's would be nice. Just my opinion.

 

IMO they are the same thing - just as ugly, just as pointless.

yup photoshop, and i do not sell them, nor are those my cars, including the one in the sig

 

eek. I hate altezza-style anything. I wish they had never come out with lights like that for any car.

 

I personally would like something like the I30 style tails (nice deep red + clear chrome . I am trying to figure out how to get the I30 tails to fit in my max though. The problem seems to be the center section.
