I recently installed a obx short shifter. It shifts real stiff like its suppossed to but i noticed that when i shift i hear a clunky metallic noise each time i go into gear. Is this normal or is this a sign that somthings wrong...maybe my synchros going out? Does any body have any advice?

 

the noise comes everytime u shift a gear? or does it only come when u press down on it?

 

Every time it actually goes into gear.Its not hitting the heat shield, theres plenty of clearance.Put a good dent in it
