Is is possible to get coppies made of my 99 Max keys other than the stealership? They want $40 for the key and $40 to program it cause it has a freaking micro chip in it? WTF! Thats malarky if you ask me. Any way just wondering if any one online sold and programed these keys? And does this mean that my car is theft proof? Since it has to have a micro chipped key?

 

Id be scared if they sold keys cut and programed for my specific car on the internet! You could always try to hotwire the car everytime you want to start it tho.

 

No it is not possible to get 99 and up keys made anywhere other than a nissan dealership.

Well its possible..but it wont do u any good in starting your car.

 

Dealership told me that any key place can make a copy .. you just won't have the nissan base thing.
