Are these supposed to be the TE tails? I found this pic on nissan's site. I cannot tell if they are just a photoshop or if that is supposed to be on the cars. Thoughts?

It looks like some kinda mixture of a 2k1 and 2k2 rear-end. Too bad the 2k2 rear doesn't acutally look like that. Look, they even have superwhite reverse light bulbs!

 

They had that pic on the Nissandriven.com website when the 2k2 came out, so no go on a 2k3 SE Titanium Ed.
Its funky cuz of the smokyness of the Tails and sidemarkers.
I just think the origional pic was in black and white, and some goofball had to color in the tails for the website (apparently forgot about the red rear sidemarkers). Alotta pics in the brochure were black and white as I recall.

Yea, Zero's right. It was in the 2001 brochure as an AE, just different tails and centercaps.

 

I saw a TE yesturday at my local dealership. Nope, the tails are the same as on the rest of the 2k2 and 2k3. Personally, I think they should have added an aero kit to that car like they did to the AE.

the reverse light is blue...

 

whoever nissan hired to do the photoshopping on that image wasnt bright enough to color match the reverse. it's supposed to be clear.

 

I saw the pictures someone posted of the new 2003 Maxima colors, but it was hard to see from that. I was at a dealership today, and checked out the new colors. I wasn't too impressed by the Sheer Silver...the Altima comes in that color too, and it looks like the silver on any Civic, etc... The Polished Titanium was sweet though. Other than that, the finish on the rims was barely noticeable in the bright sun. The contrast stitching is also barely noticeable, and very plain looking. The titanium pieces actually detract from the car's interior, IMO. I'm still set on getting a 2K2 Max...
