Neat truck, crazy price. I think dodge has blown a seal if they think a $50k-60k pick-up truck is going to sell like the lightning does. The viper is the vehicle that offers exclusivity in the dodge brand. A modified/blown version of the upcoming hemi V8 would be a better choice.

 

You people obviously have never been to GA or North Florida. It will sell.. These imbread people live for crap like that.

 

Personally, I would take on of these anyday of the week over a similarly price Escalade. I can't imagine 500/500 in a truck. That would be insane.

 

I would choose the dodge as well if that was what I was looking for. I look at the hp/torque and all I see is a useless first gear and expensive tires turning into smoke. 500hp and 500 ft lbs of torque is great for sports car with a balanced weight distribution. Pick up trucks on the other hand are light in the rear end with and that much power it will be hard to hook-up from a standstill without slicks. I bet I could still find a way to have some fun though!
