Steering wheel shakes

Steering wheel shakes

Does anyone know why my sterring whell shakes a lot between 5 and 40 mph?

Err... could you give us a little bit more info?

When was the last maintenance you did? Got aftermarket rims or stock? Lowered?

Any more info you can think of that might help?

stock rims, not lowered, still need to do 60k maintenance, changed front pads 3 weeks ago

Check for tread run out. Jack up your car and support it with safty stands. Then start it up and put it in drive. Watch the tires tread very carefully, make sure the tread is perfectly straight as the tire spins. If you see the tread move from side to side slightly or the whole tire/wheel assy - you've found your wobble.
