New Toys and Questions

finally the time is here to get the new addition to the max.

Zex 75 shot Wet Kit
Zex Purge Kit
Zex Remote Bottle Opener
Autometer Fuel Pressure
Autometer A/F (replacing since they were stolen )
Autometer Auto Tranny temp (" ")

more to come by the end of the year just wait and see.
just waiting on the pillar pod from Custommaxima.com to come out so i can finish this project that has been waiting for SOOOOO long. anybody have any info on this product coming out soon i hope

also guys i was thinking of getting this controller that i can set manually. i can set it say for around 3000 rpm and thats when the Zex kit kicks in and by 6000 or so i should be at full spray. have u guys heard of that because i may just buy it. it also has an rpm safety switch that if the car runs lean it automatically shuts off. though i think the Zex kit does that on its own.

Congrats on your new set up i know your going to have fun with it just a few things before you get started...zex is a dry kit not a wet kit... hahahah now thats out of my system.... Are you planning on starting off with a 75 shot??? If so you might want to look into upgrading your fuel pump, colder spark plugs and a Fuel Pressure Regulator w/ fuel pressure guage...As for the a/f guage and tranny temp guage although these are nice cosmetic guages more guys on the org goes with a fuel pressure guage and a EGT guage...Although both of these guages are expensive (around 200 each) they will work wonders in the long run. Finally what you are refering too is a MSD window switch that activates and shuts off nitrous flow at a specific rpm you pre determine. I didnt see from your previous post or your sig if your an auto or a 5psd...if your an auto dont worry about the windown switch mod and spend the cash on other things like a nitrous pressure guage.

Good luck man let us know what happens.

actually Zex just released the wet kit for the maxima, i have it on order they are just waiting for a specific part before they may be shipped out. the guy i order from had gotten the new parts book from Zex and it listed the maxima to use their wet kit instead of the dry kit. though im sure you can still use a dry kit

i am an auto so maybe ill just get the EGT gauges instead. the reason i have the temp gauge is because my auto has gone out before and i dont want it to happen again. kinda gives me a sense of security with it there i guess you can say. is a nitrous pressure really a big thing or can i go without it??? i mean does it just tell you when your bottle is empty or does it tell you a little more.

thx for the help Jon

Well if you squeeze with inadequate nitrous pressure the hit will not be that great...plus its nice to know where your bottle levels are...if you dont want to spring for the autometer one you can pick up the smaller guage that attatches to the bottle from zex.
