Another FPSS question

I'm in the final preparations before starting my nitrous install (would have started today but it rained) and I was comparing the fpss and fittings I got from jdmmax with pics from Sprintmax's fpss and they look a little different. Jdm mentioned that the fittings may be incorrect but he wasnt sure since he wasnt using it.

Will this work or do I need something else?

Also, does anyone have any pics of their FPSS hooked up in the engine bay?

Thanks

That will work as long as they are 5/16" fittings. I have seen someone try and force 5/16 hose over a 3/8 fittings and it cut the inner lining of the hose and eventually started to leak.

I tried to find a pic of mine but don't have a clear one and mine also has three T's so it like like a plumbers nightmare. I have one for the FPSS, gauge and fuel to nitrous nozzle.

Just put it between the filter and the fuel rail and if possible mount it so you can get at the pressure adjustment, if I remember right its just under the little rubber cap right on the top.

PS Also make sure to use "fuel hose clamps" not those cheapy spiral ones you can overtighten and cut into the hose.

So you are saying to splice into the fuel line ABOVE the fuel filter.

Its the only place I could find where you had any length of hose to play with. The rubber fuel line exits the filter and into a metal line which feeds the fuel rail. Try and cut on the horizontal part so the FPSS sits upright then its easier to adjust.

PS Read my post on the clamps too, I have a picture there.

5/16 barb fitting is more close to the OEM hose size. I am sure the OEM fuel hose is metric but I have no idea what size. It's way too hard to find fuel injection fuel hose in metric size. I went ahead and replaced them all with 5/16" fuel injection fuel hose.

You mean you replaced just the hose from the top of the fuel filter to the fuel rail or all of the fuel hose?
