Nitrous / Spark plug question

A lot of people when they get nitrous run colder spark plug... but when riding around all motor having colder spark plugs makes u slowe..or does it?

Can you run nitrous on regular spark plugs?

Sorry for the dumb questions, Im past all the bolt on's, and looking for more power, and i want to learn about nitrous, because it shows the gains of a superC for the fraction of the price, and i can afford a turbo

I ran originally on stock heat range Platinum Bosch Plus 4's and did not have any issues, plugs looked clean too when I pulled them and replaced with Denso copper 3139, gapped at .044 two heat ranges colder...I am running same plug now gapped at .042...and no problems off the bottle which is 99% of the time.

What is it people say on this board? "Gotta lose some to gain some." There is definitely a loss with colder spark plugs.

I run two steps colder, gapped at .035 and the only thing I notice is that the car runs a bit rough for the first couple of minutes when I first start it from cold.

Other than that no difference that I can feel in performance or gas mileage.

I notice the same things with one step colder plugs. I take them out and put in the stock heat range plugs for the winter, because I don't spray at all, and the rough feel from the engine lasts a good bit longer when it about 10* out.
