Looking for nitrous setup advice

I have a 98' SE 5 spd, and want to put in a nitrous setup this spring. From what I can tell, I have narrowed by choices in kits down to either the single port EFI, or the direct port EFI from NX. I plan on running things like Gen-X2 kit, as well as EGT, fuel pressure and nitrous pressure gauges right from the get go. I plan on running the lowest "shot" possible from the kit, until I can tune it to a reasonably safe amount. I may even get the Maximizer shortly afterwards, in order to get to 100-125hp, which is where I want to be by the end of the upcoming season.

I would like any advice regarding my proposed setup, or suggestions, or basically anything. I'm looking to buy everything in late Feb., and start tuning as soon as the weather warms up here in Toronto.

Your on the right track with your gauges! hmm..what else? with the wet kit or DPI kit, you won't need a high flow fuel pump, so that's cool. Maybe consider getting a RPM window switch?

I'm assuming at first, the wide open throttle alone will be enough. If I shell out for a window switch, I figure I might as well go with something like the Maximizer. More than anything, I figure a 100-125 shot will totally ruin traction unless it comes on more smoothly, which is what I believe the Maximizer can do for me. For example, I'll set the Maximizer so that it gives the smallest shot of 30hp on the single port, and 60 on the direct, right from the get go and eventually ramp up to 100-125 by 4000rpm.

Do you guys think the stock fuel pump will suffice with the eventual 100-125hp?

Where do you guys suggest I get the gauges? I was thinking about going with NX fuel and nitrous gauges, and then just a run of the mill EGT.

Where should I mount the EGT probe (I will have a budget y by then)? Should it be on the front bank, the rear bank, as close to the exhaust manifold? Where the two pipes of the y siamese? Should I go with an AF instead of an EGT?

you can use a rpm switch also....$50

Is this a dry kit? if yes then no, your stock pump will get you to about 50 shot

mount your egt probe anywhere behind the collector of the Y-pipe. If you mount it anywhere before you will only be getting temps from 1 bank of cylinders. I believe some people put it in the B pipe because its the easiest (cheapest) pipe to replace if need be.

Do you think I will lose traction with a 100-125 shot at say 3500rpm?

It is a wet kit. So a stock fuel pump will suffice for even a 100-125hp shot eh? Whodathunk.
