Variable jetting for smaller shots

I am looking for info on locating compatible jets smaller than 32 for my ZEX dry setup and larger than 38.

These are the hi and low range I have in the current jet set that I can play with to do the three "shots"

Long story short, I want to try a smaller (35 or so) shot with the SC to see how it acts and the effect on boost pressure/ acceleration/ driveability...THE BREAKDOWN IS AS FOLLOWS:

55 shot:
32 nitrous jet
36fuel jet

65 shot:
35 nitrous jet
34 fuel jet

75 shot:
38 nitrous jet
32 fuel jet

So I want to know about possible sources and jet combinations rather than just trying it out with different ones and running blind...

Won't you run really rich with the big fuel jets?

If know the NX kit will run fairly rich with 18 (f) and 31 (n) jets... but with the dry kit, you're bumping FP up even higher, right?

Hi Kev!

For a dry kit, what ppl usually refer to as the fuel jet is actually a fuel pressure bypass jet. You tee it with your fpr vacuum line. The larger the fuel pressure bypass jet, the lower your fuel pressure will be when spraying.

I know it's basically flow dynamics, but will you check my logic on jetting.

1) The larger the nitrous jet the larger the shot (larger jet = more nitrous flowing through, but at lower pressure)

2) The smaller the bypass jet the greater the fuel pressure (smaller jet = more pressure on the FPR which results in an increase in fuel pressure)

I'm with Wizza on the tuning. Even with a fuel pressure gauge and an EGT it must be pretty hard to get the right jet settings. Are there any equations that help you decide what you should be using? If not, are there any charts besides Mardigras or sx7r's charts for nitrous shots (jet/nitrous pressure) and recommended fuel pressure?

NOS jets should fit for the Zex setup.
