New way to launch with nitrous w/o slicks
I tried something out and it actually worked pretty good for getting off the line with some power and not spinning. What I do is turn my bottle opener on then off again to put pressure in the line @1100. Then I take off, get a nice little boost in first without the heavy hit of the initial nitrous spinning my tires like they were in the air. Then after I shift to second I turn the bottle back on and off I go. I still get a little wheelspin spraying in second, but it's not as bad because there is about a half of a second lag before the nitrous hits in second, because of the air in the line. It the best solution I see right now until I can get some slicks.

You must really like to multitask while you're at the track since you seem to enjoy doing everything manually If you want some nitrous traction control wouldn't it be easier to just control the flow with your momentary switch?

I always just used a monetary switch. With a 100-shot I got bad wheelspin in 1st-3rd if I hit it off the line, but if I waited till about 4.5k in 2nd, it wasn't so bad. I know a lot of people also use a push button to activate it, which would help alot since you could just release if you started spinning. Whatever works for you though...
