From what I have gathered, NX is a much more reliable setup to use rather than the dry setup of NOS brand. The engine will hold a 100 shot fine, but if you fck up on fuel delivery you engine will be gone. Go with a wet setup for more reliable fuel delivery and less problems.

Not to discount the NX kits (because I do like them), but the NOS kit or other dry kit can be just as safe. As long as you take the right precautions and make sure everything is cool before spraying you should be set. Dyno tuning after some test runs is highly recommended as well.

I'm a firm believer in the fact that a dry manifold isn't really suited to wet applications (especially with a VI). Drops of fuel, regardless of how fine they are, weigh considerably more than the nitrous gas. Many cite the fact that NX wet kits are the "future", but from what I've seen a lot of cars don't use return style fuel systems so a dry kit isn't even an option. DPI is nice, but it's a pain to tap the manifold. Everything has its pros and cons, so decide what type of performance/tuning you are willing to do and buy a kit accordlingly.
